Programa de residencia en medicina interna

The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Wellington Regional Medical Center is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is affiliated with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Wellington Regional Medical Center provides a comprehensive postgraduate medical education curriculum. Every resident participates in patient care - from admission to discharge - a feature specifically built into this intensive program.

The program is designed to help residents develop confidence in clinical judgment. Over time, and with supervision from an attending physician, residents receive increasing responsibility commensurate with their merit and ability.

As members of the healthcare team at Wellington Regional, all residents are expected to uphold the hospital mission: to provide quality and compassionate patient care. We want to ensure a rewarding educational experience for you and your total commitment and support of the program are keys to your success.

We appreciate your interest in our program and look forward to preparing you for a successful career in medicine.
